So I’ve decided to join the bandwagon and get myself a blog.
Why? Well, It’s mostly because i can. I believe in the principle “Anything that can be done, should be done”. I CAN own a blog; therefore, it stands to reason that i MUST own a blog. It is that simple.
Should I be allowed to own a blog? I don’t know. Most people that I know insist that my mind is a toxic cesspit, filled with all sorts of horrible things that would terrify any self respecting shrink worth his/her (notice the gender sensitivity) salt. My argument is that I need to flush these vile thoughts from my mind. I need a place, a waste ground if you will, where ideas/thoughts that have tortured myself and my friends’ minds for sometime now, can just chill and hangout.
Is there anything to be worried about? I think so. A lot of the stuff I will post on this blog will be trash…awesome stuff… but ultimately trash. Not to brag or anything, but I do talk, think and like a whole lot of shit. Really intense shit. The amount of rubbish on this blog will be unprecedented…..ballads will be sung, stories written and movies produced (preferably hollywood) about the scum that is Queen Anne’s Revenge. But every now and then, like a diamond in the rough, a pearl soaked in horse shit, a savant in the olodo class…something of value will appear. But don’t hold your breath…
Do i think anyone is going to read this? Of course i think someone is going to read this. Mostly because there is already a mountain of blog faeces out on the web that gets read daily. Consider this one as another addition to the pile…
Will there be explicit content? Depends on what you mean by explicit content. Foul language is a given but naked pictures and other such materials will not be posted. Sorry dudes, i’m not trying to start a porno blog here. That shit is available all over the net…try to google stuff once in a while, okay?
Don’t i want to impact the world in a positive manner, bring about positive lasting change in this world and catalyze reform and revolution by quality writing and by encouraging the healthy discourse of pertinent issues? No.
Anything else? Yeah…for those who want to know, the title of this blog was inspired by the infamous historical pirate Edward Teach. Since i consider myself a modern day pirate, i thought the name would be appropriate. Queen Anne’s Revenge was the name of his ship…it sank a year after it was named.
